Programm:

Day 1: Arrival to Kamchatka. Meeting at the airport. Transfer into Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (30-40 min). Accommodation in a hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Kozyrevsk settlement in the north direction on the truck (500 km, 8-10 hours) with the half way for a dinner in in Milkovo town. Accommodation in a private hotel. Russian banya.

Day 3: Drive on a truck to the Tolbachinsky Dol (84 km, 5 hours) in area the New Tolbachik Fissure Eruption 2012-2013. Installation of a camp at bottom of a hill the Claw (Kleshnya). A walking tour to new lava streams and cones.

Day 4: Ascent of Plosky Tolbachik volcano (1300 м > 3085 м, 14 km, 10 — 12 hours). The volcano top is almost perfectly flat; it was formed with a large caldera of 3 km in diameter, filled with layers of lava and ice. In its South-West part there is a large chasm appeared during the eruption of 1975-1976. Crater depth is about 500 meters. It is 1,700 meters in diameter. There are some weak fumaroles on the bottom of it. Observation of the crater. From the top a magnificent panorama of volcanoes of Klyuchevskaya group. Return into the camp.

Day 5: Drive in area of Northern and Southern breaks 1975-1976 (24 km, 1 hour). Survey lava, lava caves, «the dead forest». Drive in tom Kozyrevsk (80 km, 4 hours). Accommodation in a private hotel. Russian banya.

Day 6: Return into Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (660 km, 12 hours) with visiting Malki hot springs. Accommodation in a hotel.

Day 7: Transfer into airport in Elizovo town (30 min). Heli excursion into the Valley of Geysers and Uzon volcano caldera (6 hours total) with flying around active Karymsky volcano crater and Maly Semyachik crater lake. Lunch during excursion. Return into the hotel. Excursion is carried out with fine weather and is paid additionally.

Day 8: Drive to the area of Mutnovskaya GeoThermal Power Plant (110 km, 3-4 hours). Excursions to Dachnie Hot springs, so called «the Mini Valley of Geysers». Drive to Mutnovsky volcano. Setting up a tent camp. Overnight in tents.

Day 9: Foot excursion to the crater of Mutnovsky volcano. The deep crater is surrounded with cliffs. From the eastern side to the very bottom of the crater a glacier descends from the top. Mighty jets of steam and gas are released through glacier cracks. There is a lot of boiling mud pots, fumaroles, and beautiful deposits of burnstone on the crater bottom. Hiking to the crater (6 km, 3 hours). Level difference is about 800 meters. Observation of the crater. (2 hours). Snack (packed lunch). Return into the camp on the same way with observation of a waterfall in Opasny canyon. Duration 7-8 hours. Overnight in tents.

Day 10: Drive to Gorely volcano on a truck (12 km, 0.5 hour). Ascent of Gorely volcano (800 m > 1829 m). Ascend of the volcano is not difficult. The path lies on old lava flows, slag fields. Kekurniks – hardened lava remains of various shapes are very interesting. Ascend takes 3 hours. Level difference is about 900 meters. Snacks on the top. Observation of main craters of the volcano. (1-1.5 hours). The whole trip takes 6-7 hours. Return to the truck on the same way. Dinner. Drive back into Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky with visiting of Paratunka hot springs and bathing in a water pool. Accommodation in a hotel.

Day 11: Transfer into the boat terminal. Sea trip on a sea motor boat in the Avacha bay to Three Brothers Rocks and access into the Pacific Ocean to Starichkov Island bird preserve. Bird colonies on the coastal cliffs, sea fishing, crabs, fish soup (5 hours).

16.00. Drive to Avacha volcano in volcanic plateau area, between Avacha and Koryaksky volcanoes, located on 900 meters about sea level (50 km, 2.5-3 hours). Accommodation in a tourists’ shelter. Dinner. Overnight in a house (4-8 persons in a room, sleeping bags).

Day 12: Ascent of Avacha volcano (2741 m). Ascent on the western slope of the volcano and range like crest of the ancient strato volcano. The remains of the ancient volcano round the young cone as «a collar”. Angle of the slope in pre-top part is 30°. A fine view opens from the top to Zhupanova group of volcanoes, Kozelsky volcano, spaciousness of the Pacific Ocean, Koryaksky volcano massive cone. Snacks on the top, observation of the crater. Return to the camp at the same way. Ascending distance – 8 km. Duration of ascending 6-8 hours; descent takes 3-4 hours. Dinner. Departure to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (2 hours). Accommodation in a hotel.

Day 13: Visiting fish market. Transfer into the airport. Departure.
