According to Executive Order On Specific Application of Reinforced Security Measures during the 2018 FIFA Football World Cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederation Cup in the Russian Federation signed by the President of the Russian Federation, from 1 June 2017 to 12 July 2017, foreign nationals arriving in the cities of Moscow, St Petersburg, Kazan, and Sochi will be required to register with a local body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The registration by foreign nationals and stateless persons shall be obtained within 24 hours of arrival.
