St. Petersburg Icebreaker Festival. 01- 03 May 2015

St. Petersburg will once again display its ice breaking boat technologies. From May 1st to the 3rd, the icebreakers: «Krasin», «Moscow», «St. Petersburg» and «Ivan Krusenstern,» will be operating during the festival days. Citizens and guests will be free to stroll around the deck and examine the ships.

Saint Petersburg has begun its preparation for the large-scale and significant event, because already on May 1st, the majestic icebreakers will come together at the Lieutenant Schmidt and the English embankments where guests will be given free access to the boats. So that everyone can appreciate the pearls of shipbuilding.

The first Icebreaker festival was held in May 2014 in St. Petersburg, just in time for the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Russian icebreaking fleet.
