Exscursion «To the borderline between Europe and Asia» starts in the easten part of the city and continues in the western one. It runs through the Great Siberian (Moscow) highway to a column — obelisk “Europe and Asia boundary” established on crossroads of two parts of the world. The borderline that is layed out from Ural stones is so thin that tourists will be able to take photos of each other standing with one foot in Asia and with another in Europe! It is recommended to combine this excursion with City tour: Russia’s third capital-Yekaterinburg.

A walking tour along the center of Yekaterinburg runs through the Historical Square along Iset river dam and town pond levee. The tourists will see “stone garden” from Ural minefields, visit the exhibition of Ural industrial machines of 19-20 centuries. The official city is represented by town council and government house. But there has appeared a beautiful grantical levee where every here and there you can see unusual modern time marks, they’re circus cupola in constructivism style, 200-meter tower-transponder- the top-ranked restaurant and amusement complex, a monument  that is devoted to revolutionary doer of Soviet period Malyshev or for instance brand-new Keyboard monument.

City tour: Russia’s third capital-Yekaterinburg is a bus excursion through Yekaterinburg historic sights: the Historical Square, where in 1723 the main Ural plant was built along the oldest hydraulic engineering work, the first plant dam, granitical levee of  picturesque town pond.

The tourists will see the main city square, where Lenin Monument is erected, and also visit the places that are connected with the name of the First Russian President  -Boris Eltsin. The modern megapolis will show not just merchant’s mansions of gold-fever time, but also modern shopping centrers, theatrical quarter and universities. Everyone can discover the capital of the Urals in his own way.

After leaving the metro you immediately appear at Vladimirsky Square and could feel the atmosphere of the ancient and modern St. Petersburg where both grace of antiquity and modern style of nowadays are placed. The main highlight of the Vladimirsky Square is the Vladimir Cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God. It is one of the main existing temples in St. Petersburg after Kazan Cathedral that is the largest existing temple in the city center.
